Matthew Martin became employed by Moon Shadow Café a little over a year ago as the Executive Chef. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance he has incorporated fresh ideas into our menu. Maintaining our farm fresh items and expanding the horizons of the average palette of residents and visitors alike is just one of his fortes. Working with local groups and businesses, Matthew has maintained an above average working relationship with all of those involved in making Moon Shadow Café a definite “must visit” for those who frequent Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County. Matthew’s education in food comes from entering the industry with both feet on the ground and running full force with the knowledge he has accumulated along the way.
